When you interact with BOYE, we store only the information necessary to provide the student marketplace service:

• Google Authentication: When you sign in with Google, we store your Google name, email address, and profile photo URL to identify your account and authenticate listing submissions.
• Listing Details & Photos: When you post a listing, we store the title, description, category, city, campus location, item price, and compressed photos.
• Phone & WhatsApp Number: The phone or WhatsApp number you choose to publish on your listing. Please note that this number is publicly visible on approved listings so buyers, students, or passengers can contact you directly.
• Listing Reports: When you submit a report regarding a listing, we record your report reason, notes, reporter email, and timestamp for admin moderation.

All application data is securely hosted with Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication) adhering to Google Cloud industry-standard security and encryption protocols.

Access to user reports and administrative actions is strictly limited to authorized administrators. We do not sell, rent, or trade student data to third parties or marketing platforms.

You maintain complete control over your personal data:

• Edit or Delete Listings: You can edit or permanently delete any of your posted listings at any time from your My Listings page.
• Delete Account: You can delete your entire account directly from the user menu by clicking “Delete my account”. This action immediately and permanently removes all your listings, reports, profile information, and Google authentication record from our database.
